Lemon confit, mint, sage, white pepper, ash, crushed rocks and white flowers give the 2011 striking freshness that provides an attractive counterpoint to a core of rich, resonant fruit. The 2011 is powerful and explosive in the glass, with none of the green notes that afflict so many 2011s.
